Mr. and Mrs. Don Warner and Lawrence Jackson were guests Sunday at a surprise birthday party in honor of Mrs. Warner at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Don Telford, in Eau Claire.

Relatives and friends were entertained Sunday at a surprise birthday party in honor of Mrs. Glen Drew at her home. Hostesses were Mrs. James Turnquist, Mrs. Knute Wallin and Mrs. Robert Bartelt. Following dinner at noon games were played. Mrs. Drew was presented gifts. Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Drew and family, Mr. and Mrs. Danny Drew and family of Milwaukee and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Drew of Viroqua.

Lorraine Lee of Eau Claire was guest speaker at the “TOPS” Club workshop Thursday evening in the Clark Electric auditorium. The Greenwood group hosted club members from the Granton, Neillsville and Abbotsford areas. A low-calorie lunch was served.

Those from here attending the wedding of their sister and aunt, Blanche Jake to Walter Beyer in Neillsville Saturday were Mrs. Glen Drew, Mr. and Mrs. James Turnquist and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Drew and Mr. and Mrs. Danny Drew of Milwaukee.

Mrs. Tom Larson and children left Saturday for San Antonio, Tex., to join their husband and father, Lt. Col. Tom Larson, who was recently transferred there from Tyndale AFB, Tex.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keller, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vollrath spent Wednesday at Hatfield and visited the Thunderbird Museum.

Keith Stewart of Middleton visited Friday and Saturday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart.

Mr. and Mrs. Danny Drew and children of Milwaukee were weekend visitors at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Kippenhan.
