Granton (9 September 1971)

Weekend guests at the Leland Garbisch home were Mrs. Grace Rounds and Jean Rounds of Rockford, Il., Mrs. Byrdie Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Reg Johnson and son, Justin, of Hinsdale, Il., and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Marshall of Kenosha.

Mr. and Mrs. Neal Fero and family of Milwaukee spent Labor Day weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Fero.

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Wegner of Clintonville spent several days’ vacation last week with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schlinsog and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wegner.

Leonard Hansen, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hansen, has returned to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay for his second year of studies.

Mr. and Mrs. Emil Henninger spent Saturday and Sunday camping at Hatfield with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Henninger and children, of Neosho. The Vernon Henninger’s two married daughters and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hermef and family of Hartford and Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Horst and family of Waukesha, were also present.

The Rev. and Mrs. Wolkenhauer of Brunett were weekend visitors at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Helm. Donald Helm of Marion also spent the Labor Day weekend with his parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Feyen and daughter of Sheboygan spent the holiday weekend with her mother Mrs. Anna Zahradka.

Mrs. Elda Bartz accompanied Mrs. Irene Drescher of Greenwood and Wayne Drescher to Janesville Saturday where they visited with Mrs. Bartz’s daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Elwyn Larsen. They returned home Monday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Garbisch spent Sunday at Hatfield with the Marvin Garbisch’s, who were camping there.

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Fero attended the wedding of Harlin Sternitzky and Miss Marbeth Dickman in Marshfield on Friday. Monday evening the Feros visited with Mr. and Mrs. Louis Riedel.

Mr. and Mrs. Julius Rennak spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hansen at Hatfield. Other guests of the Hansens were their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Helwig and children of Elgin, Il., and their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hansen and daughters of Rockford, Il., who spent the weekend.

Mrs. Joe Sternitzky accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Marlon Ratsch and children on an auto trip along the Mississippi River Sunday.
