Beck, Myron E. “Mike” (26 OCT 1922 - 22 DEC 2013)

Myron “Mike” E. Beck, 91, Wausau, a former Dorchester and Stetsonville area resident, died Sunday, December 22, 2013, at Stone Crest Residence in Wausau where he had resided for the past two years.

Myron was born October 26, 1922, in the town of Mayville. He attended Dorchester area elementary schools, graduated from Dorchester High School and an automotive trade school in Rock Island, IL.

On January 14, 1948, he married Alice Mae Alexander, and she preceded him in death n 1995.

Myron was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He worked for Marathon Electric, Crestline Windows and Doors, Wausau Goodyear and as a service manager at King Campers, all in Wausau.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville, and the Stetsonville American Legion.

He is survived by his children, Jerry (Nelwyn) Beck, Louisiana, Bob (Melody) Beck, Athens, Mary (Tom) Cappola, Mesa, AZ, and Carol (Steve) Niehaus, Rothschild; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, James (Bernice) Beck, Stevens Point; and a sister, Betty Marolt of Aspen, CO.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Caroline Hazen and Buelah Poski; bothers Albert and Anthony Beck; his father, Albert Frances Beck; and his mother, Caroline Hutter.

Graveside interment serviced will be held in spring 2014 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Wausau.
