Caroline Ludwig, 85, of Dorchester, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at her residence in the Town of Little Black.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford. Visitation will be held at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 12.

Rev. David Clements will officiate.

They farmed in the Town of Little Black for many years. While farming, she worked at Weyerhaeuser in Marshfield for a period of time until retirement. In retirement she worked in ginseng fields & at Figi’s in Marshfield. She enjoyed gardening, canning and her family.
