Steen, Jean B. (Johnson) (11 APR 1929 - 1 JAN 2014)

Jean B. Steen, 84, Medford, died on Wednesday, Jan. 1 at Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Medford.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan. 4 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medford, with Rev. James Krueger officiating.

Interment was at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II. Pallbearers were James Steen, Todd and Jon Rau, Kent Mayer, Ryan Thurs, Brian Loushine and Tom and Trevor Meyer.

Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.

May 15, 1948 at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Medford to Raymond Steen Sr. and he preceded her in death on May 9, 2013

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE:
After marriage, she helped her husband on their dairy farm. She was also a housewife. Jean enjoyed sewing, gardening, embroidery, playing cards and polka dancing. Later in life, her and her husband enjoyed traveling together.
