Granton (16 September 1971)

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Vanderwyst and son, Nathan, of Alpena, Mich., were expected to arrive about mid-week for a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Vandewyst.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Tyler of Marshfield visited Sunday evening at the Erwin Farnsworth home.

The Friendly Neighbors club met Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Manford Cain. All members were present.

Mrs. Otto Anding, Mr. and Mr. Roger Tyler and children, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bass, mr. and Mrs. Dale Tyler of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Erland Greeler, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mayer gathered Sunday afternoon at Hatfield to observe the birthday of Mrs. Roger Tyler.

S/Sgt. and Mrs. Ralph Vanderwyst arrived recently at the home of his parents Mr and Mrs. LaVern Vanderwyst. They plan to spend the remainder for the month here before returning to Germany where Sgt. Vanderwyst is stationed with the Air Force.

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Fero attended the wedding of her nephew, Norman Porath, and Miss Ruth Henninger at Faith Lutheran Church in Marshfield Saturday. On Sunday the Feros visited with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kubat at Junction City and with Mrs. Edward Nagel and family at Edgar. The Feros also spent an evening last week with his sister, Mrs. Arlene Breseman.
