Ripplinger, Agnes (11 April 1906 - 18 September 1971)

Funeral services for Mrs. Orley (Agnes) Ripplinger, 65, of Neillsville who died September 18, were held Tuesday, September 21, at 2 p.m. from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. Norman Lindloff officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. The Georgas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ripplinger, the daughter of William C. Sr., and Anna Rose (Rauhut) Dux was born April 11, 1906, in Neillsville. She was educated in Neillsville Elementary Schools and graduated from Neillsville High School. She attended Normal schools in Stevens Point and in Milwaukee, and worked in the Neillsville Bank for several years. Her marriage to Orley Ripplinger took place on May 24, 1926, in Milwaukee. They lived in various places in Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin before moving to Neillsville in 1960.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sisters, Mrs. Martha D. Brown of Neillsville and Mrs. Elsie D. Wells of Greenwood (some of the obit was missing.)
