Wojcik, Joan M. (12 FEB 1958 - 13 JAN 2014)
Joan
M. Wojcik, age 55, of Spencer passed away peacefully Monday, January 13, 2014 at
Ministry St Josephs Hospital in Marshfield with her family by her side. A Mass
of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 PM Friday, January 17, 2014 at Christ The
King Catholic Church in Spencer. The Rev. Samuel Martin will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 8:30 AM until the time of service at the church on
Friday. A rosary service will be held at 11:30 in the church on Friday. Burial
will take place in the West Spencer Cemetery. Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in
Spencer is assisting the family with arrangements.
Joan was born February
12, 1958 in Stevens Point, WI to Lawrence and Gertrude (Kaminski) Krutza. She
earned her Associates Degree in Dietary Science. On November 3, 1979 Joan was
united in marriage to Leo Wojcik Jr. in Stevens Point, WI. The couple dairy
farmed full time and Joan also worked part time as a Food Service Manager for
Cedar Rail.
Mrs. Wojcik was a long time member of Christ The King
Catholic Church and the PCCW. She was very active in her community. Joan
belonged to Home Makers, FFA, Christian Mothers, and was a 4-H Leader. Those
that knew her best will miss her warm spirit and her love of Family.
Joan
is lovingly survived by her parents: Lawrence and Gertrude Krutza of Stevens
Point; husband: Leo Wojcik Jr. of Spencer; children: Sarah (Joshua) Moga of
Spring Valley, WI and Benjamin Wojcik of Spencer; as well as her grandson:
Kolton Moga of Spring Valley, WI. She is further survived by her brother: Mark
(Terri) Krutza of Stevens Point; and a stepbrother: Jerome (Linda) Stepaniak of
Wauwatosa. She will truly be missed.
