1952 -- With 490 pounds of butterfat and 12, 667 pounds of milk, testing 3.9
percent, to her credit, Distinction Magic Bertie, a registered Holstein-Friesian
cow owned by John Wuethrich Creamery Co., Greenwood (Clark Co.), Wis., has
completed a 318 day production test in official Advanced Registry.
She
was milked 2 times daily and was 2 years, 1 month of age when she began her
testing period.
Her record averages approximately 19 quarts of milk daily
for the period covered by her test.
Testing was supervised by the
University of Wisconsin in cooperation with the Holstein-Friesian Association of
America.
