Kuechenmeister, Diane Marie (Marriage - 18 September 1971)
Miss Diane Marie Kuechenmeister and Michael John LaBarge exchanged wedding
vows Saturday, September 18, at 12:30 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church in
Vesper. The Rev. George Stashek officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mrs. LaFae Kuechenmeister of Rt. 1 Marshfield, with whom she lived, and William
Kuechenmeister of Arlington Hts., Ill. Mr. and Mrs. Louis LaBarge of Arpin are
the parents of the groom.
For her marriage, the bride chose a
long-sleeved, high-neckline gown of Chantilly lace over organza styled with a
lace-tiered skirt and a matching train. The bouffant silhouette of the gown was
complimented by a Chantilly lace mantilla veil. She carried two long-stemmed
large white carnations centered with red roses as she was given in marriage by
Garth Gray.
Mrs. DuWayne Kuechenmeister of Rt. 2 Marshfield was the
matron-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Joseph LaBarge of Joliet, Ill., and Miss
Connie Burt of St. Peter, Minn. The bridal attendants wore identically-styled
empire-waist gowns of avocado Chantilly lace over taffeta with matching mantilla
headpieces. Each carried a single, long-stemmed yellow carnation. Brenda Smith
was the flower girl and Kelly LaBarge was the ringbearer.
Joseph LaBarge,
of Joliet, Ill., served as bestman. Groomsmen were DuWayne Kuechenmeister of Rt.
2 Marshfield, and Richard Kuechenmeister of Rt. 1 Marshfield, Eugene Erickson
and Ray LaBarge acted as ushers.
Mrs. Viola Heller was organist and Greg
Lang was the guitarist. Vocal soloist was Mrs. Lorraine Fekete.
A wedding
reception was held at the Garth Gray residence. A 4:30 p.m. dinner at the Bali
Hai Supper Club was followed by an 8:30 p.m. dance.
The new Mrs. LaBarge,
a 1969 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School, has been employed in
Marshfield. Her husband, a 1963 graduate of Auburndale High School, is employed
as a truck driver for a Marshfield firm.
The newlyweds are living on Rt.
1 Marshfield. They will take a wedding trip to the eastern states later in the
year.
