Mrs. Arlene Larson at Barnsveld is visiting at the Fred Hohl home and with other
friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kebl and children spent Christmas Day with
relatives at Marshfield.
Miss Melva Afkend spent Wednesday and Christmas
Day at the Clayton Afkend home at Abbotsford.
Mr. and Mrs. Grant Sloniker
and Dennis of Milwaukee spent Thursday until Saturday with their parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Earl Sloniker.
Mrs. Martha Meyer of Chicago is spending the
holidays with her sister Mrs. Gilbert Meyer and with relatives at Withee.
Mrs. Ed Langfeldt and son of Racine spent from Friday until Sunday with her
father Gregor Celesnik and other relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Thiede,
sons Leonard Jr. and Jimmy of New Ulm, Minn., spent Friday and Saturday at the
Walter Swieso home.
The Misses Norma and Ann Warner of Madison spent from
Wednesday until Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Warner.
John
Olson, who attends school in Rochester, N.Y., is spending the holidays with his
parents, Dr. and Mrs. W.A. Olson.
Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Hoesley and son
Michael of Madison are spending the holidays with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. R.L.
Barnes, and with his parents at Granton.
Mr. and Mrs. Pete Celesnik and
family of Cadott spent Sunday with his father, Gregor Celesnik.
Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Swieso and Wilbert spent Christmas Day with Mr. and Mrs. Vernard
Swieso at Mosinee. They returned home on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Edwards and daughter Cindy of Lac du Flambeau, spent from Monday until Thursday
with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Russell Edwards and her folks at Stevens Point.
Dr. W.A. Olson left Saturday for Chicago, where he will board a plane for
San Francisco. While there he will visit a brother who is very ill, and attend
the Rose Bowl game on New Years.

Darrell and Mrs. Hazel Brown spent Christmas Day at the Ernest Ninbar home at
Withee.
Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Meyer and Joyce spent Christmas Day at the
Emil Niemi home at Withee.
A 3-C Duane Stewart of Brooks Air Force Base,
Texas is spending his furlough here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Stewart Sr.
Mrs. Charles Grabler of Milwaukee and Mrs. Grace Caliebe of
Madison spent Christmas with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Caliebe.
A 3-C George Plunkett of Bryan, Texas and Pvt. Harry Plunkett of Fort Bragg,
N.C. spent the holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Plunkett Sr.
Mrs. Margaret Briski of Chicago visited relatives here over the holidays.
Miss Mary Lou Stewart, who is taking nurses training at St. Joseph's
Hospital, Marshfield, is spending the week with her parents, Mrs. and Mrs.
Robert Stewart Sr.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Albrecht and son Donald of
Abbotsford were visitors at the Herman Metzke home Sunday evening.
Mr.
and Mrs. Eugene Sowieja and children of West Allis are visiting her parents Mr.
and Mrs. John Vesel and other relatives.
Miss Patsy Syth, Madison, spent
from Wednesday until Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Syth.
Bernard Stiefvater of Manitowoc is spending the holidays here with his mother
Mrs. Greg Rogillio and other relatives.
