Leach, Ervin (30 October 1898 - 26 September 1971)
Ervin Leach, 73,
of Greenwood, died late Saturday night at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield
where he was admitted September 13.
Mr. Leach, son of Thomas and Edith
(Redfield) Leach, was born October 30, 1898, in Eleva. He came to Greenwood with
his parents and attended school here. He operated a meat market in Greenwood for
many years and was employed in Loyal and Greenwood as a meat cutter until his
retirement.
He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the
Masonic Lodge of Loyal. He was presently the president of the Senior Citizens of
Greenwood.
Survivors are a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral
services were to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Grace United Methodist Church.
Masonic services were held Tuesday evening at the Hill Funeral Home.
