Cornwell, Leland (22 MAR 1869 - 18 FEB 1953)
Wednesday, February, 18, 1953, private funeral services were held for Leland
Cornwell at the Griebenow Funeral Parlors with Rev. Arthur Meinhart in charge.
Mr. Cornwell was born in the Town of Pine Valley, Clark Co., Wis. On
March 23, 1869 to Orville and Ann (Palmer) Cornwell, and spent most of his life
on the home farm.
He married Kate Heaslett in 1892, who survives him, as
do two daughters, Mrs. Emil Luther of Tomahawk and Mrs. L.W. Cattanach of Owen,
also two sons, Rollie of Hemet, Claif. And Harold of Hamilton Field California.
One son, Carroll, preceded him in death.
The pallbearers were Gerald,
Douglas and Kenneth Luther; Bert and Robert Cattanach, grandsons, and Martin
Nowak. Burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery. (Owen Enterprise)
