Charles Ludwig, H.M. Bergeman and Dr. R.L. Barnes attended the funeral of Leo Meyer at Loyal Monday.

Miss Joan Barnes of Marshfield spent the weekend with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. R.L. Barnes.

Miss Mary Ann Urbanz spent the weekend with her parents and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rogetz and family of Stanley visited Sunday at the Palmer Vinger home.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Johnson and family of Wis. Rapids spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Mikottis.

Richard Larson, Edward Buker and Jack Rondorf left last week Wednesday for San Diego, Calif., after spending their leave with their parents here.

Victor Kohlnhofer and Johnny Simonen of Milwaukee spent the weekend at the Joe Kohlnhofer home.

Mr. and Mrs. S. Plank and Mrs. James Plank, accompanied by Mrs. C.J. Neuenfeldt of Spencer, attended the funeral of a relatives at Dodgeville on Tuesday of last week.

Mrs. Leonard Johnson was called to Cornell Sunday by the illness of her mother, Mrs. Martha Cole..

Mrs. Henry Linnerman of Owen visited Sunday with Mrs. John Wuethrich.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Klancher and son James left last week Tuesday for a month's trip through the west.

Mrs. Harlan Brux and son returned Saturday from St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Miss Patsy Syth of Madison spent from Wednesday until Saturday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Syth.

Mr. and Mrs. Gus Toburen of Wausau visited on Wednesday of last week at the Wm. Toburen and Arthur Syth homes.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Koschak of Waukegan, Ill. visited at the Ignatz Koschak home Saturday and with relatives in Willard on Sunday.

Mrs. Fred Hohl and Mrs. W.A. Stewart were at Marshfield Thursday and visited Mrs. Theo Humke and other Greenwood patients at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. John Bleicki and family, who ran the Grum Tavern for the past two years, left Saturday for Milwaukee, where he will be employed. Mrs. Bleicki and children will visit with her mother at Relief, N.C. for a few weeks.

Mrs. Robert Stewart Jr. and Ruth Alice of Stanley; Mr. and Mrs. buck Jepsen, Mr. and Mrs. O.R. Thompson, Rib Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart Sr. and Helen were at Marshfield Sunday afternoon and attended the capping of 44 student nurses at St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing. Mary Lou Stewart, daughter of Robert Stewart Sr., was a member of the class.

Mr. and Mrs. R. Mead visited relatives at Merrill on Sunday.

Mrs. O.J. Amundson left Saturday for a few week's visit with her daughters at New Holstein.

Mr. and Mrs. Ignatz Koschak and daughters were Marshfield callers on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stewart, James and Mary of Marshfield spend Sunday evening at the Robert Stewart Sr. home.

Mrs. O.B. Hagen, who spent a week with her sister, Mrs. Mary Thompson, at the Robert Stewart Sr. home, returned to her home in Wittenberg last Thursday.

Mrs. Bernard Lulloff, sons Vernard and Bobbie and daughter Helen of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Richards of Goodman, and Mrs. Emil buss of Curtiss spent Sunday at the Robert Schneider home.

Robert Ramin was a business caller at Minneapolis last Thursday adn Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Verle Krogsness and son Michael of Minneapolis visited his mother, Mrs. Gladys Russell at the Carl Nelson home Sunday.

Everett Metcalf of Madison spent the weekend with hsi parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Metcalf.

Miss Donna Brzezinski spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brzezinski Sr.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart Jr., Ruth Alice and David of Stanley spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart Sr.

H.R. Baird had the misfortune to fall on the ice near his home Monday evening and was taken to the Neillsville Hospital, where X-rays were taken of his knee. He returned home Tuesday morning.
