The Pioneer Circle commemorated their 30th anniversary at a meeting held on Wednesday, March 18, 1953 at the home of Mrs. Celia, Jackson. A chicken dinner was served and pictures taken of the group.

A program was presented, at which Mrs. Hattie Shields, the only charter member now belonging, read a history of the club. Following the program games were enjoyed and prizes awarded to Mrs. John Brandt, Mrs. Hattie Shanks, Mrs. Jack Syth, Mrs. Christ Keiner and Mrs. Mathilda Fahey.

Twelve members attended the first meeting in March 1923 at the home of Mrs. Charles Pickruhn. Those present were: Mrs. George Bishop, Mrs. C.H. Clute, Mrs. John Huntzicker, Mrs. E.T. Opdycke, Mrs. E.N. Paul, Mrs. Henry Stabnow, Mrs. A. Speich, Mrs. Mary Warner, Mrs. Art White, Mrs. Albert Shanks and Miss Louise Vates.

Those present at the anniversary party were: Mmes. Hattie Shanks, jack Syth, John Brandt, Mrs. Christ Keiner and daughter Louise, Mathilda Fahey, Celia Jackson, Dave Thwing, Alvina Wehrman, Don Warner, all of Greenwood; Mrs. Bertha Pickruhn and daughter, Mrs. Peter Lydiksen of Loyal. Mrs. Victor Krokson, another member was unable to attend because of ill health.
