Malnar, Dolores (Joins Fraternity - 3 APR 1953)
Miss Dolores Malnar,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Malnar of Willard (Clark Co., Wis.) was received
into the Beta Tau Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi during the initiation ceremony at La
Crosse State College on April 9, 1953. Kappa Delta Pi is an honorary education
sorority and has for its purpose, the recognition and advancement of high
scholarship, professional leadership, and the most desirable traits of
personality. The organization is international and has at present one hundred
sixty-five chapters in the leading colleges and universities in which teacher
training is done. To be applicable for membership a student must have a 2.0
point or higher grand average for four consecutive semesters of college work,
and must be elected as a candidate by the entire chapter.
Dolores is a
junior in the elementary division and is a graduate of Greenwood High School
with the class of 1950.
