On Wednesday, April 8, 1953 at St. Mary's Catholic Chapel, Greenwood, Miss
Elaine Lindner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Lindner, R. 2, Loyal (Clark Co.,
Wis.), became the bride of Wayne L. Herdrich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett
Herdrich, R. 2, Loyal, at a 10 a.m. Nuptial Mass. The Rev. Father Edward Hartung
officiated.
The bride was attired in a floor length gown of white nylon
lace over satin, with a sweetheart neckline and fingertip veil. She also wore a
pearl necklace with matching earrings and carried a bouquets of white and pink
carnations.
She was attended by her two sisters, Jacqueline, as maid of
honor, and Jeanette as bridesmaid. Jacqueline wore a gown of pink net over
satin, while Jeanette's gown was of green net over satin. The gowns were styled
identically and the girls carried bouquets of white carnations and yellow
daffodils.
The groom was attended by Lawrence Lindner, cousin of the
bride, and Donald Lindner, brother of the bride.
A dinner was served at
the Carol Lindner home to 100 relatives and friends, and supper was served to
150 guests. A reception was held from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. In the evening a
dance was enjoyed at the Silver Dome.
The bride graduated from St. Mary's
Catholic School and the Greenwood High School with the class of 1948. The groom
graduated from the Loyal High School with the class of 1948.
The young
people will make their home on a farm south of Greenwood.
Guests from
Marshfield, Abbotsford, Cazenovia, Colby and Loyal attended the wedding.
