Brandt, Mr./Mrs. Nyle (Wedding Shower - 8 APR 1953)
A wedding shower
and reception were given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Brandt, Wednesday
evening, April 8th, 1953 in the church parlors of the Assembly of God Church at
Fond du Lac, Wis., of which Rev. O.W. Apple is pastor.
A very interesting
program consisting of solos, duets, instrumental numbers and declamations was
planned and presented by members and friends of whom there were fifty-six in
attendance.
The room was attractively decorated with red and white
streamers. Two special chairs were trimmed for the bride and groom.
Red
and white candles and a beautiful white tier cake decorated with crystal ball
sand red roses with silver leaves furnished the table decorations.
The
bride wore her white gabardine wedding suit with a red rose corsage and red
accessories. The groom was attired in a blue suit with a white carnation
boutonniere.
Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Brandt and
Romella and James Berrett of Greenwood.
The honor couple received many
beautiful gifts.
Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Brandt are now living in Fond du Lac
where Mr. Brandt is employed.
