Kenneth Henry Marden was born April 26, 1907 at
Neillsville, but came to Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) at an early age and
received his education in the Greenwood schools.
On May 6, 1927 he was
married to Kathryn Stauber at Milwaukee. To this union were born a daughter, now
Mrs. Jack (Betty) Krueger, Loyal, and two sons, George, who died in infancy and
Kenneth William Jr., who is with the U.S. Navy.
Most of his life was
spent in and around Greenwood, with the exception of a year when he and his wife
resided in Milwaukee. They returned to Greenwood on June 15, 1953 and planned on
building a home here this summer.
Mr. Marden passed away suddenly in his
trailer house at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 1953 following a heart attack.
He is survived by his wife, son and daughter, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
Marden, Greenwood, and two grandchildren, Priscilla and Kathleen Krueger, Loyal.
His sister, Mrs. Vivian Clow, preceded him in death.
Funeral services
will be held on Thursday, June 25th from the Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m., with
the Rev. A.C. Riley officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Greenwood
Cemetery.
