Hoehne, Mr./Mrs. Carl C. (Gold - 7 JUN 1903)

Sunday, June 7th, 1953, Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Hoehne celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner for the family at the George Hoehne home.

Carl Christian Hoehne and E. Lena Runkel were married at Reeseville, Wis., on June 7, 1903, and came to Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) immediately following the wedding, and have resided here all their married life, where he owns and operates the hardware store.

To this union were born four children, George, Julius, and Mrs. Leonard (Ilma) Braatz, Greenwood, and Mrs. Oscar (Nelda) Dyre), Detroit Lakes, Minn. There are nine grandchildren.

They are members of the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church.

The afternoon was spent pleasantly visiting with friends and neighbors who came to call.
