Southwick, William (4 OCT 1901 - 16 MAY 1953)
Word has been received
of the death of William Southwick which occurred on May 16, 1953 at Everett,
Wash. He had been in failing health for some time with a heart ailment. He was a
resident of Everett, Wash. for the past 25 years.
He was the son of the
late Rev. and Mrs. Edwin Southwick, and was born at Hillsboro, Wis. On Oct. 4,
1901. He spent his boyhood on a farm in the York (Clark Co., Wis.) Community,
where his father was pastor of the little Free Methodist Church that was located
near the site of the present York Center Methodist Church.
Funeral
services were conducted on May 20, 1953 by the Rev. Chris Alberg, pastor of the
Assembly of God Church, of which he was a member. Interment took place in
Evergreen Cemetery.
He is survived by four daughters and four sons,
together with his widow. Also he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Nina Hill of
Linwood, Wash.
