Joseph William Plunkett, son fo Mr. and Mrs. Harry Plunkett Sr., was awarded a bachelor of science degree at graduation exercises, held at Eau Claire State Teachers Colldge on Friday, June 5, 1953.

Joe is a graduate of the Greenwood High School with the class of 1947.

That same day Mr. and Mrs. Joe Plunkett celebrated their first wedding anniversary. They reside in Eau Claire. Mrs. Plunkett was the former Patti Page of Colfax. They have a one month old daughter, Kathryn Jean.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Plunkett Sr. and son Tim, and S.Sgt. LeRoy Plunkett of Truax Field, Madison, attended the exercises.
