Abramson, Virginia (23 JUN 1953)
Miss Virginia Abramson and Harold Krom
were united in marriage in a quiet and simple wedding ceremony performed on June
23, 1953 in Minneapolis by Rabbi Nahum Schulman. Following the ceremony the
couple left on a week's trip through northern Wisconsin and Minnesota.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Abramson of Rice Lake, Wis.
She is a graduate of Wis. State College at Superior and Miss Wood's Training
School. For the past several years she has been teaching kindergarten in the
Minneapolis School system.
Mr. Krom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Ben Krom, Withee. He is a graduate of the Withee Public Schools and the Pharmacy
school at the University of Wisconsin. For years he has owned and operated the
Withee Drug Store, until about a year ago when he purchased a drug store in
Greenwood and has been devoting his time to his new location.
Presently
the couple is residing in the Krom home at Withee, until such time as their home
in Greenwood is completely furnished.
