Neville, Michael (2 JAN 1876 - 15 JUL 1953)

Oyen, Canada, July 20, 1953 -- Requiem Mass was said here Saturday morning, July 18 by Rev. Father Lynett of Calgary for Michael Neville, 77, who died in Oyen Hospital, July 15, 1953.

He was born at Neillsville (Clark Co.), Wisconsin, U.S.A. Jan. 2, 1876, where he spent his youth. In 1904 he married Miss Ida Hoffman. In 1906 he homesteaded in North Dakota and in 1910 he came to Alberta and settled in the Cappon District, where he farmed until 1950, when he retired and moved into Oyen.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his widow Ida, and two brothers, James of Owen and William of Neillsville, Wis. Interment was in Oyen Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Messrs. M. Hoffman, A.K. Less, Wm. Walker, David McKee, G. Norbloom and Wm. McDonald.
