Hendrickson,
Fritz M. (17 JUN 1896 - SEP 1953)
Fritz Melvin Hendrickson, 55, resident
of Montgomery Ridge for 50 years, succumbed to a sudden heart attack at the
office of a Lewiston physician.
Born June 17, 1896 at Greenwood (Clark
Co.), Wis., Hendrickson came west with his parents five years later. The family
settled on Montgomery Ridge. He attended Lewiston High School and completed his
high school course there, and returned to Montgomery Ridge, where he had engaged
in farming since that time.
Hendrickson amrried Martha Gehrke Dec. 28,
1926 at Spokane.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Besides
his wife, he is survived by three sons, Carl and Jack of Anntone, and Fred, who
is in the Navy and is presently stationed at San Francisco.
He is
survived by four brothers and eight sisters. His brothers are John W.
Hendrickson of Clarkston; Oxil Hendrickson of Asotin, Roy of Los Angeles, and
Donald of Lewiston. Sisters are Mrs. Roy Weisgerber of Walla Walla; Mrs. Beecher
Campbell of Clarkston; Mrs. Fred Heier of Denver; Mrs. Archie Smith of Spokane;
Agnes Hendrickson of Lewiston; Mrs. Adolph Turnquist of Greenwood, Wis.; and
Mrs. Lansing Wilson of Cadott, Wis.
