Mr. and Mrs. buck Jepsen and Wesley Stiles of Rib
Lake visited Thursday evening at the Robert Stewart Sr. home.
E.L. Hindes
of Minong spent the weekend at the Florence and Allie Williams home.
Mr.
and Mrs. Val Jeras and Mrs. Cecil Anderson and children visited at the John
Verschay home at Willard Friday afternoon.
Mrs. Caroline Horn, who has
been employed at Harvard, Ill. has purchased the Albert Schuette home and is
moving into same.
Mr. and Mrs. Alf Larson and son Richard left Sunday for
a trip to California. Richard spent his leave here with his parents.
The
Misses Donna Buker, Mavis Jacobi, Frank and Jim Koci, all of Milwaukee, spent
the weekend here at their respective home.
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cox, Mr.
and Mrs. Simon Wehrman and Mrs. John Syth and son Bobby were Colby and
Neillsville callers Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. John Meng left last week for a
visit with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith at Las Vegas,
New Mexico.
Mr. and Mrs. Al Dusso of Milwaukee and friends of Wausau
visited Sunday with Mrs. Kenneth Marden and other relatives and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Krueger and children of Loyal visited at the home of Mrs.
Kenneth Marden and Wm. Marden Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Kehrberg and
family of Loyal visited Sunday evening at the George Haeuser home.
Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Drake visited relatives at Omro and Oshkosh on Tuesday and
Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Ketchpaw returned last week Wednesday from a
trip to St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Frank Koci returned home on Friday evening
after a week's visit with relatives and friends in Milwaukee.
Miss Gladys
Winch and Robert Koci left Tuesday for Milwaukee for a few days visit.
Mrs. Cecil Anderson and children left Sunday for her home in Kansas City, Mo.,
after visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Verschay. She will spend a few
days in Chicago with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Isaacson.
Gordon and Geln Weiher of Minneapolis spent the weekend at the home of Dr.
and Mrs. R.J.H. Weiher.
Margie Carl, Lois and Roberta Weiher and Dr.
Weiher spent Saturday in Madison at the football game.
Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Stewart Jr. and family of Stanley visited Sunday at the Robert Stewart
Sr. home.
Mr. and Mrs. Lige Niman of Spencer visited Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
Marden on Sunday, Sept. 20th.
Mrs. Glen Stewart and children of
Marshfield visited Sunday afternoon at the Robert Stewart Sr. home. The children
remained here with their grandparents for this week.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben
Hahm and Mrs. Olaf Sorenson of Milwaukee visited over the weekend with relatives
and friends here.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keller spent from Friday until
Monday at Butler, Wis. with their son and family and getting acquainted with
their new grandson, and Monday and Tuesday at Cottage Grove, Wis. with Mr.
Keller's sister, Mrs. Al Ayne and family.
Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Neuenfeldt
spent Thursday at the James Neuenfeldt home at Medford.
Miss Eleanor
Krieg of Marshfield spent Sunday at the Merrill Hare home.
Mrs. O.J.
Amundson left Tuesday to visit her daughters and families at New Holstein.
Miss Avis Lunka of Willard spent two week visiting relatives and friends in
Chicago. She returned home Thursday.
Mrs. George Huntzicker of Marshfield
and Mrs. Maud Huntzicker spent the weekend at the Austin Mlaca home at Hales
Corners.
Mr. and Mrs. Dave Stetter and sons David and Carl of Berlin,
Wis., and Mrs. John Bradley of Oshkosh spent the weekend at the Frank Drake
home.
Mr. and Mrs. Fay Drake and son Bruce and Mr. and Mrs. Burton Drake
of Antigo were Sunday visitors at the Frank Drake home.
Miss Dolores
Malnar of La Crosse spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Malnar
at Willard.
Mrs. George Rooney and lady friend of St. Paul spent the
weekend with Mrs. Frieda Ampe.
Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Hoesly and son Michael
of Madison spent the weekend with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. R.L. Barnes.
Mrs. Richard Miles and Mrs. Mary Kubat of Loyal called on friends here last
Thursday.
Atty. Clarence E. Gorsegner suffered a severe heart attack
while in court at Neillsville Tuesday and is a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital,
Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Stewart and Lannie of Withee; Mr. and Mrs.
W.A. Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart Sr. and Helen were at Rib Lake
Tuesday evening and helped Mrs. O.R. Thompson celebrate her birthday. Mrs.
Thompson is a sister of Art, Robert and Wilbur.
