Christopherson, Ole (2 JUN 1880 - 4 NOV 1953)

Funeral services for Ole Christopherson, 73, who died at his home in the Riverside community, 14 miles northeast of Vida Mountain, on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1953, were held Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 10 at 1:00 o'clock from the First Lutheran Church with Rev. Ralph L. Okland officiating. Interment was in Sacred Heights Cemetery in the Riverside community. Arrangements were by the Clayton Funeral Chapel.

Ole Christopherson was born June 2, 1880 at Greenwood (Clark Co.), Wis. He lived there until 1910, when he came to Montana and took up the homestead where he still resided at the time of his death.

Mr. Christopherson never married and he lived alone at his farm home. While the time of death was aforementioned as Nov. 4, since he lived along his body was not discovered until Friday.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Alfred Wanderass and Clara Christopherson, both of Vida; three brothers, Carl, Wildrose, N.D., and John and Andrew of Vida; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
