Berthold, Victor (Gunshot Wound - 24 DEC 1953)
Victor Berthold, 15, of
the Willard (Clark Co., Wis.) area was treated by a doctor at Neillsville last
Thursday for a gunshot wound in the palm of his left hand. The boy said, at
first, he had been struck by a stray bullet while gathering wood, but later
admitted that the wound had been inflicted while he was handling a .22 caliber
revolver he had obtained without the knowledge of his parents.
