The September meeting of the Happy Hustlers 4-H Club was called to order with the pledge to the flag and the 4-H pledge. The song for the month and birthdays were sung.

Roll call was taken with 11 regular members, seven new members, three project leaders, and three visitors present. The new members are Marilyn Watenpuhl, Barb Watenpuhl, Kay Swenson, Brenda Lindow, Missy Darling, Leyla Gungor and Teresa Hanby.

New officers elected for the coming year include Jean Jordahl, president; Rosemary Opelt, vice president; Linda Diers, secretary; Janyce Jordahl, treasurer; Jackie Schoenherr, club reporter; Jean Ayers, safety chairman; Marilyn Watenpuhl, recreation leader; Missy Darling, activity leader; and Barb Watenpuhl, dairy chairman.

The next meeting of the club is to be held on Tuesday, October 19, with members in Halloween “fun” costumes.

The meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m. Lunch was served by the Jordahl family. Rosemary Opelt, club reporter.
