Northup, Gary E. Jr. (21 March 1958 - 9 October 1971)

Funeral services for Gary E. Northup, Jr., 13, or Union Grove, who died October 9 at University Hospital in Madison, were held Tuesday, October 12, at 11 a.m. from the Polnasek Funeral Home in Union Grove. The Rev. Roland Meyle of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church officiated and interment was in the Union Grove Cemetery.

Gary Northup, Jr., the son of Gary E. and Shirley (Stigen) Northup, was born March 21, 1958, in Neillsville. He was a fifth grader at the Union Grove Graded School, which he last attended two years ago. Since that time, Gary had not been well enough to attend school. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Union Grove.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include two sisters: Diane and Theresa, and a brother, Timmy, all of Union Grove; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. N. T. Stigen and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Northup, all of Neillsville; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
