Witt, David J. (Military Notes - 1971)
David J. Witt, 19, son of Mrs.
Marjorie Witt, of Abbotsford, recently was promoted to sergeant upon completion
of a 15-week field artillery non-commissioned officer candidate course at Ft.
Sill, Okla.
Sgt. Witt received training in gunnery, communications,
survey, artillery tactic and maintenance to qualify him as a small unit leader.
The sergeant is a 1970 graduate of Abbotsford high School. Before entering
the army he was employed a s truck driver in Abbotsford.
