Robb, Ralph Nelson (26 April 1884 - 23 October 1971)
Funeral services for Ralph Nelson Robb, 87, who died October 23, in Neillsville,
will be held today (Thursday) at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home. The
Rev. Melvin Nickel will officiate. Burial will be made in the Fairchild
Cemetery.
Mr. Robb, the son of Nelson Robb and the former Clarinda
Walker was born April 26, 1884, in Green County. He received his education there
before moving onto a farm near Greenwood. His marriage to the former Edith
Rogers took place December 25, 1910, in Blanchardville.
Mr. Robb worked
30 years for the Soo Line Railroad. He then farmed in the Neillsville and
Greenwood areas for several years. He later moved to Fairchild and operated a
service station there until he retired.
Survivors include a daughter,
Mrs. Leo (Neva) Wiesner, Sr.; a son, Alvin N. Robb, Clearwater, Fla., a sister,
Mrs. Ella Thompson, Madison; eight grandchildren and two-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ralph N. Robb, 87, of Fairchild, who died October 23,
in Neillsville, were held October 28, at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral
Home. The Rev. Melvin Nickel of the United Methodist Church officiated and
burial was mde in the Fairchild Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Kenneth
Loberg, Bertie Schultz, Leo Wiesner, Jr., Fred Marty, Robert M arty and Joseph
C. Esselman. Mrs. Eugene Smigelski sang “Rock of Ages” and “the Old Rugged
Cross”. She was accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.
Those from out of town
who attended the services included: Alvin N. Robb of Clearwater, Fla., Miss
Marjorie Wiesner of Chippewa Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Esselman of Loyal,
Mr. and Mrs. A. Mai of Eau Claire, and Fred Marty of Granton.
