Globe (4 November 1971)

The Rev. and Mrs. Robert Bitter and sons drove to Palos, Ill., recently where the pastor was guest speaker at a mission festival service. On their way back they attended the funeral of his grandmother.

Paul Hemp of Rochester, Mn. visited his sister, Mrs. Clara Mitte, last Thursday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and fam8ily and William Oldham were Sunday dinner and supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kalsow.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thoma, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux and son, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and family, Mrs. Clara Mitte, Mrs. Hilda Thoma and Mrs. Jimmy Vincent and daughters attended a birthday party at the Herman Dux home in honor of Mrs. Dux and Gordon Thoma on Thursday evening. A decorated cake centered the table.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and fami.ly visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sturtz, Sr., in Loyal Sunday evening.

Mrs. Frank Kozubik has returned from the hospital and is recovering at her home after her accident.
