Walker, Lorikay A. (30 January 1964 - 23 November 2013)
Lorikay A. Walker, 49, of Humbird passed away Nov. 23, 2013, at home
surrounded by her loving family after her courageous battle of almost two years
with pancreatic cancer.
Lorikay A. Walker was born Jan. 30, 1964, in
Black River Falls, the daughter of Darrel and Violet (Wagner) Edwards. She
attended Alma Center High School, graduating in 1982. She was united in marriage
July 2, 1983 to Ray Walker. Her passion was caring for animals, especially her
dogs and deer, and gardening and yard work, taking care of her hobby farm.
Lorikay didn’t refuse any animal.
She is survived by her husband, Ray;
son, Brandon (Kelly) of Greely, CO; daughter Lacey of Eau Claire; three
granddaughters, Angi, Alex and Danni; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends. She is also survived by her father Darrel of Alma Center; mother Violet
of Eau Claire; brothers and sisters-in-law. She is further survived by her
mother-in-law Jean Walker of Humbird and many brothers-in-law and
sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by infant grandson David
Thomas Walker and her father-in-law Dick Walker.
