Funeral services
for Joseph J. Susa, 84, were held November 22 from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in
Greenwood. The Rev. Leander Koopman officiated, assisted by the Rev. Mathew
Malnar of Independence. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were nephews, Cletus Susa, Giles Susa, Howard Susa, James Susa, John
Gatz and Alois Hoffman. There was special music by the children’s choir,
accompanied by Miss Margaret Speich.
Relatives and friends from away were
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Seiwert and Mrs. Henry Koenig of Cochrane; Mrs. Hattie
Bodwin of Tampa, Fl.; Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Bodwin and Thomas Susa of Milwaukee;
Joseph Spangler of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mangadanz of Marshfield; and
Mr. and Mrs. William Butterbrodt of Loyal.
