Peterson, Edna (27 APR 1886 - 4 JAN 1965)
At 2:00 o'clock this afternoon
funeral services for Edna Theresa Peterson, city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.), will
be conducted from the Nazareth Lutheran Church at Withee. The parish pastor,
Rev. Byrl Knudsen will read the burial service, with interment scheduled at
Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Bredlau, Norman Geisler,
Ross Braithwaite, Axel Lindgren, Arvid Lindgren, and John Peterson.
Miss
Peterson had been ill for several months and passed away Jan. 4th, 1965 at her
home in the First Ward, where she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage.
Born
April 27, 1886 in Sweden, Miss Peterson came to this country when 20 years of
age. Seh amde her home in Chicago, practicing the trade of a beautician until
her retirement in 1956, when she came to Owen, building a new home in the First
Ward where she has since resided.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs.
Jeannie Kallberg of Medford and a brother, Ludwig Peterson, who still make his
home in Sweden. Three sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
