A marriage ceremony was performed in Medford Saturday, Jan. 23, 1965, at 10 a.m., when Miss Karen Carlson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Carlson, route 1, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), and Lauren C. Raschein, Prairie du Sac, son of Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Raschein of Weslaco, Texas, became man and wife.

Attendants at the wedding were Miss Lynn Carlson, Curtiss, the maid of honor, and David Lundgren, Prairie du Sac, best man.

A wedding reception for the immediate families was held at the home of the bride's parents. The newlyweds are farming near Prairie du Sac.

The new matron, a 1960 graduate of Abbotsford High School, graduated in 1964 from the Minneapolis Vocation School for Practical Nursing. She was employed as a licensed nurse in West Allis Memorial Hospital. Her husband attended Prairie du Sac High School.
