Hall, Elizabeth (29 JAN 1896 - 14 FEB 1965)
Funeral services for Mrs.
Elizabeth (Betty) Hall were held Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 17 at St. Katherine's
Episcopal Church, with Father Richard Hewetson officiating. Burial was made at
Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert Mattson, Adolph Haavisto,
Clarence Kitz, Melvin Jarchow, Newell Wilson and Wm. Stolp.
Her death
came suddenly following an accident and her admittance to St. Joseph's Hospital
at Marshfield. Saturday she was admitted for treatment of a fracture hip
sustained while doing exercises in her apartment. Sunday she passed away with
death being attributed to a coronary thrombosis.
She was 69 years of age,
being born Jan. 29, 1896 in South Dakota. She had been a resident of Owen for
the past 38 years, having served as a cook in various restaurants and for
several years operated the Round House Cafe.
She is survived by one
daughter, Mrs. Eileen Smaltzer of Washington.
