Hurt, Donna Anna (8 January 1948 - 27 November 2013)

Funeral services for Donna Anne Sladich Hurt, 65, were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church. Rev. Francis Kamau officiated. Interment followed in Forest Park West Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Michael Sladich, William Sladich, Harry Thompson, Matthew Sherrod, Kenneth Thompson, and Michael Taunton.

Donna Anne Sladich was born on Jan. 8, 1948, in Marshfield, to Ignatius and Anne Sladich. She passed away on Nov. 23, 2013, in Shreveport. She retired from Schumpert after 43 years of service. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory: are her daughter Kerry Hurt, her sisters, Mary Sladich, Jeanne Strey, Rita Sladich, and Anne Bogdonovich; and her brothers, Michael Sladich, William Sladich, and Jerry Sladich.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Thomas Hurt Jr.; a brother, Edward Sladich; her father-in-law, William Thomas Hurt Sr.; her mother-in-law, Josephine Hurt; and her brother-in-law, Ronnie Hurt.
