Mr. and Mrs. William
Schmidtke spent last weekend in Rockford, Il., where they visited her sister and
brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Eskil Erickson, and her nephew and his wife, Mr.
and Mrs. Gene Turner and daughter, Gail. The Schmidtkes were guests Thanksgiving
Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Balcair in Marshfield. Others at the
Balcair home were Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stevens of Spencer, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew
Balcair, Sr., and Granddaughters, Donna Balcair, of Milwaukee and Mrs. Stella
Stevens of Loyal.
Mrs. Myrtie Davis, son, Warren, daughter, Shirley, and
grandson, Jimmy, were Thanksgiving Day guests at the home of her daughter and
son-in-law, Mr. and Mr. William Wolf.
The Youth Fellowship of the York
Center United Methodist Church was to meet Wednesday evening, December 1, at the
Jerry Johnson home.
Erland Garbisch of slinger spent last week at the
Arnold Garbisch home.
Jeff Kayser and a friend, both of Waterloo, were
overnight deer hunting guests last Saturday of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Van L. Kayser.
One of the York Center dartball teams played a Loyal team
Monday evening at the York Center Hall.
Miss Elaine Trimberger of Menasha
spent her Thanksgiving vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Trimberger.
Guests last Tuesday at the Trimberger home were their son and daughter-in-laws,
the Rev. and Mrs. Dale Trimberger and son, Joel, of Poysippi. Mr. and Mrs.
Horace Haack of Marshfield also were supper guests Tuesday at the Trimberger
home.
