Lobsinger, Herman (11 January 1905 - 26 November 1971)
Herman Lobsinger, 66, of Greenwood died suddenly of a heart attack while
shoveling snow at his home on November 26.
Mr. Lobsinger was born January
11, 1905, in Grissenberg, Switzerland, and came with his parents to the United
States at the age of six and lived in the New Glarus area. He was married in
1926 to Frieda Christen. He was a farmer all his life and retired in 1970 in
Spencer and then moved to Greenwood. He also was a real estate broker for the
last 20 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors are
his wife; a son, Donald H. Lobsinger of White Bear, Mn.; three daughters, Mrs.
Wilbert (Dorothy) Kleindl, Jr., of Cambridge Springs, Pa., and Mrs. John (Helen)
Rugo of Deer Park; 12 grandchildren and a brother, Ernest Lobsinger.
Funeral services, in charge of the Hill Funeral Home, were held at 1 p.m. Monday
from Trinity Lutheran Church in Greenwood. The Rev. A. F. Hellert of Withee,
pastor of the church, officiated. Burial was made in Deer Park.
Pallbearers were Oscar Miller, George Stark, Wesley Schwarze, Arno Decker, Elmer
Learman and Arthur Christie.
