Liebzeit, Albert #2 (10 MAR 1885 – 24 JAN 1946)
Albert Liebzeit was
born March 10, 1885 in the Town of Herman, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, the son
of William Liebzeit and his wife Barbara nee Dennerlein. The boyhood days of the
deceased were spent in the Town of Herman, where he was confirmed at St. Paul’s
Lutheran Church on March 26, 1899, his memorial verse being the familiar passage
from John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”
On May 7th of the year 1910 the deceased was united in marriage with Miss Clara Braun, the wedding being solemnized in Salem Church, Braun Settlement. To this union six children were born, two daughter and four sons, all of whom survive the father.
Having been educated in the Public School of Millersville, Wisconsin and in later life taking a short course at the University of Wisconsin, Mr. Liebzeit devoted the last 33 years of his life to his farming and business interests. In the year 1930, Mr. Liebzeit organized the Warner Town Fire Insurance Company, in which company he served as director and treasurer; he was also agent for the Home Mutual tornado Insurance Company and the Home Mutual Casualty Company of Appleton.
For the last five years the deceased was in
failing health, and his condition became quite aggravated during the past
eighteen months. The days, weeks and months of his illness became increasingly
tedious because of lack of sleep, and then rest came at last, he departed this
life peacefully in his sleep on Thursday morning, January 24th, at 3:30 o’clock,
at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, having attained the age of 60 years, 9
months and 14 days.
