Helm, Delores (1 December
1930 - 30 October 1971)
Funeral services for Mrs. James (Delores) Helm,
40, of Loyal, who died of accidental asphyxiation at her home October 30, were
held Tuesday, November 2, at 11 a.m. from St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. The
Rev. Norbert E. King officiated and burial was made in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
K. C., P. C. C. W. and general Rosary services were held at the Roycraft Funeral
Home, where the body of Mrs. Helm was in state.
Mrs. Helm the former
Delores Pieper, was born December 1, 1930, in the Town of Beaver, where she
spent her early life. After her October 26, 1949, marriage to James Helm, she
and her husband lived in Loyal. Mrs. Helm, a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic
Church and of its Altar Society, was employed in Marshfield at the time of her
death.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include her father, Arnold
Pieper, of Loyal; and three children, Mrs. Jeff (Sandra) Sommers of Stevens
Point, Sharon Helm of Kenosha and Randy Helm, at home. She is also survived by
four sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Beverly) Olson, Mrs. Larry (Joyce) Rueth and Mrs.
David (Karen) Fricke, all of Loyal and Mrs. Jim (Marlene) Lauenstein of
Milwaukee; and by one brother, Delmar Pieper, of Spencer.
