Lulloff, Thomas Lee (19 December
1950 - 31 January 2014) With Flag
Thomas Lee Lulloff passed away Friday
Jan. 31, 2014, in Fort Worth, TX.
Thomas was born Dec. 19, 1950, in
Marshfield. He graduated from Neillsville High School in Wisconsin, after which
he joined the Army and served in Vietnam until he was wounded. While in the
hospital recovering from his wound, he turned down the Purple Heart award due to
men around him having missing limbs. He believed those men to be the real
heroes. Tom was an extraordinary friend to those in need. He would pray with his
friends in his prayer garden and pass out small wooden crosses.
Tom is
survived by his son, Christopher Lulloff of Wisconsin; his daughter, Miranda
Gerke of Stetsonville; his stepmother, Anita E. Lulloff of Neillsville; brother,
Mike Lulloff of Odessa, TX; sister, Kathryn Albers of Jacksonville, FL;
half-sister, Cindy Kopp of Neillsville; stepbrothers, Ronald Marden of Kansas
City, MO, Randy Marden of Neillsville and Jerry Marden of Spencer;
grandchildren, Nicholas, Benjamin, Logan and Ethan; and a great-grandson, Zane.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert F. Lulloff, and his mother,
Irene M. Richmond.
Tom’s friends gathered to celebrate his life in Fort
Worth, TX, Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014.
