Robert Henry Dillenbeck was born Dec. 19, 1948, in Greenwood, the son of Harold Albert and Margaret Lydia (Einfeldt) Dillenbeck Sr. He graduated from Greenwood High School in 1967. In 1977, Bob started his own logging company, which he still worked to this day. Bob loved everything about the outdoors, including hunting, and always made sure he was respectful of the environment.

Bob was united in marriage to Denise James in 1973 in Delavan. Together they had two children. Bob loved to coach Little League while his kids were growing up. He was known for his wonderful gift of patience. Bob was an exceptional carpenter and made many detailed doll houses and numerous gifts for family and friends and two of his own houses, which he was very proud of. Bob was a quietly caring man but also had a great sense of humor. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. They were his pride and joy.
