Wischulke, Helen (11 May 1907 - 18 February 1996)
Helen
Wischulke, 88, of Neillsville, passed away at Neillsville Memorial Home on
Sunday, Feb. 18, 1996. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, at
the Zion American Lutheran Church in Granton, with Rev. Jerry Lamb officiating.
Burial was in Zion American Lutheran Church Cemetery. The body lay in state one
hour prior to service at the church.
Helen was born May 11, 1907 to Mr.
and Mrs. Rodehau in Germany. She married Walter Wischulke Sept. 26, 1925 in
Granton, Wis. The couple farmed in the Town of Lynn for 27 years. Walter passed
away in 1972 (his obit shows 21 May 1970). After her husband’s death Helen moved
to Neillsville and was employed at the Neillsville Memorial Medical Center from
1972 - 1981. After her retirement she resided in Neillsville. She enjoyed
traveling the area and sightseeing.
She is survived by one nephew,
Wilbert Wischulke; one niece, Naomi Cournoyer; and several great nieces and
nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter,
several brothers and sisters, and one great nephew.
