Drummond, John Tabor #3 (26 JUN 1865 - 05 DEC 1942)

Funeral services for John T. Drummond, 77, who died Saturday night December 5, 1942 at his home here were held Thursday afternoon, December 10 at 1:30 from the Drummond home and at 2:00 o’clock from the Methodist Church with Rev. A.J. Abbott, pastor of the church and Rev. C.R. Gaylord, a former pastor and now at Stanley, officiating. A Masonic service was held at the cemetery and he was laid to rest beside his wife.
The members of the Eastern Star attended in a body.

During the services Mrs. Henry Keller and Mrs. Chal Perkins accompanied by Mrs. John Meng, sang “Jesus Lover of My Soul”, “In the Garden” and “God Be With You.”

The pallbearers were M.E. Kenyon, C.C. Hoehne, O.J. Amundson, Elmer Johnson, I.W. Stafford and E.L. Mlada.

The flower girls were Mrs. Russell Weaver of Owen, Mrs. Linn Enockson, Mrs. Harry Liebzeit, Mrs. Bertha Volk, Mrs. M.V. Overman and Mrs. O.J. Amundson.
