Mrs. Albert (Esther) Bloy, 71, Loyal, died at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at St.
Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield where she had been a patient for the past two
weeks. Cause of death was due to complications.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, at the Myre Funeral Home with the
Rev. Lelan Shaw, pastor of the Loyal Methodist Church officiating. Burial was
made in the Hillside cemetery at Marshfield.
The former Esther Grambsch was born January 8, a896 in Winnebago County and
later moved with her parents to Marshfield. She graduated from Marshfield High
School in 1914, June 17, 1920, she married Albert Bloy at Marshfield. Prior to
her marriage she was employed as a secretary for Schaefer-Neuman Cheese Co. in
Marshfield. After their marriage the couple lived in Marshfield until 1940, then
moved to DePere and later to Oshkosh. May 1 of this year they moved to Loyal.
Organ selections were played by her son Dr. James Bloy during the services.
Pallbearers were Bert Becker, Clyde Grambsch, Jack Zepplin, Willard Budahn and
Elroy Fisher.
She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethern Church at Oshkosh.
Besides her husband she is survived by 1 son, Dr. James Bloy, Maryville, Tenn; 2
daughters, Mrs. Byrom (Ruth) Zepplin, Loyal; and Mrs. Richard (Jeannette)
McCormick, Oshkosh; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Van Voorhis and Mrs. Rose Ambuehl,
Colton, California; and Mrs. Emma Van Voorhis, Tekoa, Wahington, and five
grandchildren.
