Viola and Violette Roder left Monday for Whitehall, Wis., where they will be
employed during the winter.
Miss Eleanor Hinze went to Milwaukee Wednesday to resume work.
Albert Nehring of Sheboygan spent the holidays with his parents.
Mrs. Herman Kallien of Corinth visited Mrs. A. Hinge Thursday and Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Anton Peham visited at the John Zell home Sunday.
Ernest Schaner of Curtiss is working for Elmer Heckman.
Miss Fern Knuteson returned Saturday after spending a two weeks vacation at her
home in Wisconsin Rapids.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Zell visited at the Hugo Barenquast home on Tuesday.
Miss Marguerite Zell left Tuesday for Wausau to resume her duties after spending
a week at her home.
Charles Lehman of Athens Wins Engine
At the drawing held at the store of the Milan Implement Company, Charles Lehman
of Athens won the engine given away by Mr. Bobbe, to the lucky person holding
then number drawn.
In talking over the matter with Mr. Bobbe, he informs us that a bigger surprise
than ever awaits his customers this year.
