Miss Rhea of Thorp is visiting her sister, Mrs. E.J. Rossman.
Miss Nora Sullivan was up from Wonewoc over Sunday.
C.H. Chandler was at Merrillan between trains Tuesday.
Art Flynn is home from Sioux Falls, S.D., for a brief vacation.
Mrs. Otis Beardsley of Norway, Mich., is here for a visit with relatives.
Mrs. Fred Carpenter went to Marshfield Tuesday for a visit with her son.
Wm. Crosby and wife of Glenbulah are visiting their son, E.W. Crosby, and
family.
Franz and Paul Listeman of New York are here visiting their brother, Kurt, and
his wife.
Mrs. R.C. Lorentzen and grandchildren returned Saturday from their visit at
Stevens Point.
Mrs. John Langraf and dAughter were at Granton Tuesday to attend the funeral of
Mrs. Marsh.
Bert Dresden and Dr. Matheson and their wives returned Tuesday from an auto trip
to St. Paul.
Thomas Hitchcock and wife of Alma Center spent a couple of days the first of the
week in this city.
Mrs. Mary McMillan went to Abbotsford Tuesday to spend a few weeks with her
dAughter, Mrs. Wing.
Albert Kiefat returned home to Annetta, N.D., Tuesday after a visit at the home
of Frank Marg in Pine Valley.
Chas. Sherman and wife were here from Wausau to attend the funeral of Mrs.
Sherman’s uncle, John Wasserberger.
Mrs. Letta Nason returned to Portland Tuesday after spending several weeks here
with her father and other relatives.
Herman Wasserberger of Marshfield and Richard Wasserberger of Minocqua were here
to attend the funeral of their brother, John.
Mrs. George Forbusch went to Alma Center Tuesday to spend several weeks as her
husband went to North Dakota last week to work.
Wm. Ames and wife returned home to George, Iowa, last week after a couple weeks
visit with her parents, Ezra Campbell and wife.
Sunday evening a very severe storm struck the neighborhood southeast of
Neillsville and the high wind did considerable damage to silos and wind mills.
Saturday evening Mrs. J.H. Brooks entertained a party of ladies in honor of her
guest, Mrs. Blencoe, of Alma Center. At which Mrs. V.C. Huntzicker won the
prize.
